Internal work has its own vocabulary. Somebody inside a communications team writes employee engagement, intranet content and manager cascades, and pages using those words reach a buyer that a general agency page never does.
Change programmes create urgent enquiries. A restructure, a merger or a new operating model comes with dates already fixed, and a team without capacity searches for support with very little time to compare.
Reporting is a calendar. Annual reports, sustainability disclosures and governance statements happen at the same point every year, and being visible three months earlier is what gets the brief.
Executive work is searched quietly. Leadership positioning, a chief executive's first hundred days and speech support are typed discreetly by somebody senior, and those engagements are small, well paid and rarely contested.
