Nobody attends every day. One person comes on Mondays and Thursdays, another three afternoons, so capacity is a different number for each weekday and a single headline figure describes nothing.
The vehicle limits the centre. Seats, the length of the round and how long the first person collected spends travelling caps attendance regardless of how much space the building has.
Care information has to reach the floor. Medication, dietary needs, mobility and what calms somebody when they become distressed belongs where staff can see it that morning, not in a file in an office.
Two payers on one register. Places funded by an authority and places paid privately are invoiced differently and reconciled separately, and confusing them costs either the family or the centre.
