Websites for coffee roasters

Web design for coffee roasters

The same bean is roasted two different ways: one for espresso, one for filter — and the wrong one tastes wrong however you brew it.

People decide with a phone in their hand and in about two minutes: what you serve, opening hours, photos, and whether they can book or order. Hiding the menu inside a PDF loses you exactly those two minutes.

The occasion matters more than the cuisine: weekday lunch, a birthday, the terrace, gluten free, a family Sunday. Each one is a separate search and deserves its own paragraph on the site.

A menu from two years ago costs more than no menu at all: the prices are wrong, half the dishes are gone and the impression is of a place that has closed. What is on the page has to be what is on the pass tonight.

Allergens and dietary options deserve a page, not a footnote. The person who has to check is usually the one choosing for the whole table, and a clear answer wins the whole group rather than one order.

The coffee roasters that grow have one thing in common: a website that builds trust and makes contact easy. If yours doesn't, you're handing customers to the competition. We fix that, so customers order freshly roasted coffee and subscribe.

What matters about your website isn't that it's pretty, but that it works: that's why we integrate online orders and subscriptions, beans and origins and wholesale and delivery, so every visit has something clear to do and ends up a customer.

We work with the technology that best fits your coffee roastery: WordPress, WooCommerce or bespoke development, always with a fast, secure and easy-to-manage website. We hand it over ready and, if you want, train you to run it yourself.

We optimise your website so your coffee roastery appears on Google and Google Maps when customers search nearby. Local SEO is what converts most in your sector: whoever searches wants to book now. And if you want customers from day one, we add Google Ads.

In brief: web design for coffee roasters

  • If something goes down, yesterday's backup takes over: phone number and address are reachable again in minutes.
  • Domain, content and logins stay in your name: you ask nobody's permission the day you want to change something.
  • Not a brochure but a tool: it takes enquiries while you are working.
  • A clear way to get in touch — WhatsApp, phone and form — so no enquiry is lost.

⚙️ Not just a website, a tool

The site works when you cannot: it answers the obvious questions, shows the work and takes the enquiry at eleven at night.

How we work with coffee roasters, step by step

  1. 1

    We look at your business

We pin down what the site has to produce: calls, bookings, enquiries with a photo attached.

  2. 2

    Structure and content

We give each service its own page, so it can be found on its own terms.

  3. 3

    Design and build

We build it fast and mobile-first, with your brand and a clear route to contact.

  4. 4

    Launch and Google

We submit the site to Google and check a few days later what is actually indexed.

  5. 5

    Handed over working

We show you how to change texts, prices and photos yourself, in one session and without a manual.

Frequently asked questions about web design for coffee roasters

Which roast do I need? +

Espresso roasts are developed further for pressure extraction while filter roasts stay lighter, so the same origin appears twice for good reason. Customers buy the wrong bag and blame their machine.

Blend or single origin? +

Single origins change with the harvest while a blend is built to taste the same all year, which matters to a café far more than to a home. Both have a place and the difference is rarely explained.

Why has the price gone up? +

How green coffee is bought, what the farmer receives and why the market moves. Transparency here is the whole argument for a speciality roaster.

Do you supply cafés? +

Wholesale pricing, machine setup, dialling in and barista training as part of the account. A roaster sells a relationship, not a bag.

Can we update the menu ourselves? +

In two minutes from a phone, and it appears everywhere at once — the page, the schema Google reads and the printable version.

Should we take bookings on the site or by phone? +

Both, but the site has to work at eleven at night, which is when a good share of tables are decided.

Do allergens have to be on the online menu? +

They are required, and they are set once per dish. The printed menu comes from the same source.

Do prices have to include VAT? +

Prices shown to the public do, as the final amount. Net prices belong only on pages aimed at business customers, and if both appear, it has to be obvious which is which.

Who writes the texts if my English is not perfect? +

We do, and then you read them aloud. If a sentence does not sound like you, it does not stay — the site has to survive a customer quoting it back.

How many revisions are included? +

Two rounds before launch, and the small fixes afterwards without counting. What is not included is redesigning it twice, and we say so before starting.

Can you keep my current domain? +

Yes, and we prefer it. Losing a domain that has been printed on vans and business cards costs more than any redesign gains.
