Weddings are the market, and they run on their own calendar. Searching starts in January for the summer, sometimes a full year out; a page created in May is working for the season after next.
Alongside the bride sit the occasions nobody serves: prom, professional headshots, mother of the bride, a milestone birthday. Small searches, almost no competition, and they fill the weekdays.
Lessons are the underrated field. "Makeup lesson near me" gets searched steadily, costs an evening to run, and brings clients who come back for their own wedding two years later.
People type skin tone straight into the search box, and almost nobody writes a page for it. Someone looking for an artist experienced with deeper skin tones or with mature skin is a decided customer with very little to choose from.
