The career question comes first. How to become a chef, whether qualifications are needed and what the pay actually is are read long before any school is compared, and the school that answered honestly is the one remembered.
Qualification names convert quickly. Somebody typing the name of a diploma has already decided to study and is choosing where, which is a much shorter decision than the career question.
Career changers are a real market. Somebody leaving an office at thirty-five needs different reassurance from a school leaver, and almost no school writes for them.
Short courses reach people already in the industry. A knife skills week, a pastry intensive or a wine qualification brings working professionals who pay for themselves and often return.
