An overflowing drain is decided in minutes. The searcher wants somebody today and a number they can believe, and the company that publishes a call-out figure is chosen over one that says every job is different.
Cost is searched heavily and answered rarely. A range for a straightforward unblocking, and what makes it more, brings in people who have been putting up with a slow drain rather than risk an unknown bill.
Surveys are a separate, calmer market. House purchases, insurance claims and disputes between neighbours all produce demand for a recorded survey with a written report, and that customer is not in a hurry.
Commercial work is scheduled rather than urgent. Restaurants with grease, blocks of flats and industrial sites need planned maintenance, and those searches use entirely different words.
