The style of burger has become a search of its own. Smash, dry-aged, vegan, gluten-free bun: each has little competition and a very decided audience behind it.
"Best burger" plus a town is the most contested query in the trade, and it's settled on reviews and photographs. Without real pictures of your own plates and without reviews being answered, there's nothing to win there.
The lunch deal is the quiet opportunity. It's searched between eleven and half past twelve, almost always on a phone and within a five-minute radius, and hardly anybody gives it a page.
Dietary searches punch above their weight. "Vegan burger near me" and "gluten free bun" are small, specific and answered by almost nobody, which makes them the cheapest bookings on the board.
