A blown-in cellulose insulation company had changed website and left half its content behind along the way. The technical data sheets for each material, the ETICS (SATE) system, «What is cellulose?» and the list of towns served no longer existed. Nor did the legal notice and privacy policy. 32 of its 47 pages had no description for Google, and three showed the template's placeholder text. Two separate service trees competed with each other under the same title, and the keyword was misspelt in the address itself: «aislamieto-buardia».

What we built

  • 27 pages recovered from a 2019 backup of the hosting, which held three WordPress installs with the same text repeated across them. It was cross-checked against the current sitemap, duplicates were removed, and each page returns to its original address, where it had its ranking. Almost 7,000 words, legal notice and privacy policy included.
  • Technical data sheets with their tables: density, conductivity, reaction to fire and acoustic tests remain tables, with the exponents in kg/m³ where they belong. Plus an index of materials the site never had.
  • Eight posts of around sixty words each brought together on a single page, «Why insulate with cellulose», one section each. On their own they were thin content; their addresses now lead to their own section.
  • Not one address broken: the 47 URLs in the sitemap still respond. 15 permanent redirects fix the misspelt keyword, the duplicated service and a «Non classé» category that WordPress had left in French.
  • Its own title and description on all 73 pages, not a single one repeated, and one main heading per page.
  • Site photos converted to WebP at two sizes, with alt text built from the file name and the page. Cover images were chosen by hand, leaving out banners with the logo baked in and stock photos.
