Arrival points are the market. Somebody searching for hire at an airport or a station has a date, a flight and no alternative. Nothing else on the site converts at that rate.
Fear is searched openly. Excess, deposit and insurance queries belong to somebody who was caught out at a counter once already. Answer them properly and you win a customer choosing on trust instead of on the daily rate.
People look for a shape, not a model. A seven-seater, an automatic, a van, something with a tow bar: each of those is a fixed requirement rather than a preference, and the page competes against very little.
Long-term hire is quietly growing. People avoiding the cost of owning a car search for monthly rental, and that customer is worth many weekends and asks far less of the counter.
