Cost is the search. A kitchen, a bathroom, a whole flat: people want a range before they will speak to anybody, and the firm that publishes honest bands gets the enquiries that are actually funded.
Rooms are separate markets. A bathroom is a three-week job decided in a fortnight; a whole-house renovation is a six-month commitment decided over a year, and one page cannot serve both.
Extensions and loft conversions are the highest-value searches. They come with questions about permissions and structure, and the firms that answer those questions get onto a shortlist that forms months before any work starts.
Photographs convert only with the scope attached. A finished kitchen means nothing on its own; the same photograph with what was done, how long it took and the budget band is an argument.
