Refusal is the exact moment somebody searches. A decision with an appeal deadline in the letterbox puts a person on the phone that same evening, and the page saying how many days are left takes the call.
A residence permit goes by ten names and each deserves its own page. Study, work, self-employment, family and exceptional leave share almost nothing beyond the counter.
The applicant's own language matters more than the keyword. Somebody searching in Spanish, Arabic or Ukrainian finds nothing in English, and barely a firm serves that demand.
Processing time is an honest question. How long a case really takes is written down nowhere, and giving a true range gets the page cited as much as visited.
Cost is searched before any contact is made and without asking anybody's permission. A page with no figure always loses to a page with one, even when that figure is a range hedged with conditions.
Employers form a second market with a different vocabulary. HR departments type «sponsor a foreign worker» or «skilled visa requirements», never «immigration solicitor».
Citizenship closes the cycle and is researched years ahead. Serving those searches early wins the client long before the application is even possible.
The competent tribunal narrows the field better than distance does. Appeals run through particular courts, and explaining which one brings cases in from other regions.
